My First BUNCO Party - So Much Fun!
You try to roll 6's, and then when someone gets to twenty one points you yell BUNCO and the game stops. You can also yell Big BUNCO, this is when you roll three 6's. You continue the game until 9 p.m. That way everyone can get home and it's not too late.
My Partner for the March Party, Amanda: she is having the next party in April, and Karen is explaining what she will need.

Baby Layne - New BFF
The picture below is blurry, but wouldn't it have been an awesome picture if it had come out clear? It's Paulette holding Baby Layne, and me looking at them, and it's the reflection in a mirror at Applebee's Restaurant.
(Isn't she cute?):

Drury Inn - Open House
Below is the eating area where they serve breakfast and a hot meal in the evening.
This is Theresa and me: she has been a friend since the days of Drury on Harding Place, and I just had to get a picture of us together.
Meeting Room
Exercise Room
Sitting area on one of the floors.
Don't Paulette look comfortable watching TV in one of the suites?
Two Double Bed Room
King Size Room
They did a really great job renovating and decorating their rooms; the food wasn't bad. The best parts were that the manager was a St. Louis Cardinals fan and we got a certificate for a free night. AWESOME!

The Best Evening I've Had in a While!
My Grady - My favorite Great Nephew
Grady is such a GREAT baby; he was a little tired tonight, and got a little cranky. He was not bad at all though! Debbie turned and asked me how we took her shopping when she was little. Oh boy do I remember some of her tantrums, but those things just happen with children, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
It's hard for me to realize that my Debbie is not a little girl anymore; she's grown, married, and has her own little boy now. She's had some rough times; she's pulled herself through, and I am so totally PROUD of her. I know my sister would be so proud of her too!

Abatha Needs My Help - Does She Know I Don't Cook?
I don't cook that much; I probably eat out 5 out of 7 days a week. It's just easier for my sister and I, but I did get the below 2 recipes from Ashleigh. They are completely easy to cook, and they taste pretty darn good!
Cabbage and Noodles
1 Head of Cabbage chopped or thinly sliced
1 ½ to 2 cups of any kind of small noodles
1 cut up Kielbasa Sausage (or you can cut up and grille chicken instead)
1/3 chopped onion
Salt
Any Purpose Seasoning
-Garlic Salt to add flavor
Boil the noodles separately.
In a large skillet pan, put the cabbage in first on medium. Let it start to shrink a little (about 7-10 minutes).
Add chopped onion. Give that about 4 minutes Before adding Sausage or Chicken.
Add Sausage or Chicken. Mix well.
Add salt, seasoning.. or whatever you want to add to it.
I like to let it all mix with the flavors for about 45 minutes.
Add Noodles and more salt if needed.
*I personally like to add Bleu Cheese Crumbles or Feta Cheese to mine when its done.
*Hot sauce is also good if you like that flavor.
Ground Beef and Veggies
2lbs of ground meat (turkey, or beef whichever you like)
2 cans of mixed veggies
1 can of diced potatoes
½ chopped onion or onion flakes
1 Cup of small noodles
LOTS OF SALT AND BUTTER
Boil noodles in separate pot.
Brown the meat and drain.
Add canned veggies.
Add Onion
Add LOTS of butter and salt, garlic salt…
Add Noodles.
Let that simmer on medium heat for about an hour.
Enjoy. Its probably not the most healthy thing by adding all the butter. But it tastes AWESOME.
Both are good with any kind of bread or biscuits. I would say they can feed a group of 4. But if there is only 2 of you, then it's great leftovers.Abatha: I'll be watching for your review, and I'll be making your soup soon!

My Dad - My Hero
I think about my Dad more in March than any other month; it was the month he was born. He was so proud of his three girls (Wendy, Robin and Me), he would do anything for us.One Memory: When I was in first grade, my Mom told me not to play ball in the house. While my mother was gone to the store, I decided that I would play ball. Yeah, in the house. That ball hit her hanging crystal bowl; thank goodness my Dad was there. He helped me glue that bowl back together, and he kept my secret to his death. My Mom finally found out that I did it about two years ago in 2009, and I was 41.
Another Memory: I moved to Nashville, and decided that I wanted to change jobs in 2002. A family friend worked for a temporary staffing agency, and she sent me to a airline ticket boxing factory. I had never worked in a factory; the first night, I dropped a whole box of tickets and they went all over the floor. Needless to say the line lead was not happy with me! The next morning I woke up with paper cuts all over my arms from the airline tickets that I had picked up, sore muscles from lifting all those ticket boxes, and I called my Dad crying. I told him that I wasn't going back to this job; I hoped he understood, and he said he did. That very next day my friend sent me to an office where I filed correspondence, and that started my long road to my current position that I love. Several years later, I found out that my Dad had called our family friend. He told her that she was not to send me to another factory, and that he didn't appreciate her sending me to such a rough job, and that he expected her to send me somewhere that was much more suitable for me. That's why she sent me to that office!
I'm sorry for breaking that crystal bowl Mom: thank you so much for protecting me and taking care of me Dad, and I wouldn't be the person I am without both of you. I just hope other children experience two loving parents like I did.
Thank you Mom and Dad; I miss you both so much, but I know you're watching over Robin and I. Robin needs a little more watching over, remember?
