Wednesday - Dog the Bounty Hunter Show Night

My DVR is programmed to record "Dog the Bounty Hunter" on A&E tonight. You know I met Dog and few of his posse at Davis Kidd Booksellers on March 29, 2010. He was there signing his second book, "Where Mercy is Shown, Mercy is Given".

Beth, Dog's wife, is below giving everyone high 5s ; she squeezed my hand, and said you look tired. Of course I was, I had been in line for about 4 hours waiting to see Dog.

This is Duane Lee, Dog's son. He was a little pushy; the book signing had lingered on so long that they only had a few minutes left. So Duane Lee helped line everyone up in a circle so everyone could get their book signed; he tried to move me once. I just looked at him, and he looked at me.

The Dog talked to me; I smiled, but I have no idea what he said.

This was my favorite picture; Robin asked Leland (Dog's son) if he would take a picture with me. He was the nicest, friendliest person. I wasn't even nervous, and he's pretty cute too.

I may have been so exhausted from standing in line, but I really got the feeling that the Chapmans were really nice, caring people. Of course, they probably wanted to sell a lot of books, but I'm sticking with my assumption.

Growing Older - 50 and Over

I took last Friday off to celebrate my friend/favorite doctor's 50th birthday; there were 50th signs hanging from his office ceiling, baby pictures, posters on the walls, ads in the paper, everyone wore black, and there was even a sign on his truck that said "Honk it's my Birthday!"

He's really a special person that always thinks of other people; he deserves to be the center of attention occasionally, and he will not forget this birthday!

Kathy's Birthday

Today is my bosses birthday; I got her a dark chocolate bar, and a necklace made with a scrabble piece. I saw this necklace at an art festival; the piece was the letter N, and they had laminated a message on the front. It said "Stay Calm and Move Along". She's been pretty calm today; wonder if that message is working, or it's the chocolate liquor in her candy bar?

Friends of Eclipse - Regal's Midnight Showing

It's amazing who you will see at a midnight movie showing; me and some of my friends are below.

Above: Jennifer (Works at my chiropractor's office - Dr. Geisser's) & her sister - I can't tell you which one is Jennifer, but they both are really nice. It's GREAT to talk about the Twilight saga while you're being popped. We may even get Dr. Geisser to come with us to see the next movie!

Above: My Gang - Rachel (Lori's Daughter), Paulette, me, Brooke, and above Brooke's head is my sister Robin

For those of you that didn't attend the midnight showing of "Eclipse"; you missed so much Fun!

July 4th - Family Affair

I spent a very nice weekend with my Mom, sister, brother and aunt. We even bought fireworks this year. Then we ended up watching all our neighbors fireworks, and didn't finish ours. We did have a chance to light the sparklers, a few snakes, and Robin and I were hitting the payment with fire crackers. They were loud!

Robin & I

Below is Jim; I promised him that I would put this picture on my blog, because he really loved wearing Robin's "Mickey Mouse" apron while cooking. We may not see this again.

Chihuly at Cheekwood

Brooke and I went to the Chihuly exhibit at Cheekwood; it was so amazing to see the glass sculptures that Dale Chihuly created. We went after work on Friday while the sun was still out, and we're already planning to get a group together to see them at night. I'm a sucker for art!
