Facebook - FANTASTIC

Sometimes on Facebook when I get a friend request, I just accept it. I have no clue who it is, but I tell myself that I'll figure it out later. Yesterday I got this weird message from one of my Facebook friends asking about me and their Mamaw; it didn't sink in until I talked to my sister later that night, it was Debbie. We got on Facebook and checked her profile, and sure emough we were right. I've been looking for my neice for several years; last week I even drove by her old family house, and nothing. I was ready to give up looking for her, and then I recieved her email. After her Mom (my sister) passed away, it was hard to keep in touch, her Dad didn't like me much. I did try to see her from time to time, but I realized that it was probably easier on her if I stayed away. The last time I saw Debbie was about six years ago at Christmas; she stopped by my Aunt's house in Kentucky. I'm so glad she reached out to me; she's married, and has a little boy named Grady. When I look at my niece, I see my sister. Family is so precious!

LP FIELD - TITANS LOCKER ROOM

Paulette and I got to tour LP Field and the Titan's locker room while attending a vendor seminar today! We were greeted by two very nice employees at the Stadium Club entrance; then proceeded to the 4th floor (The Club Area), and we got catered a delicious lunch while looking out over the field.

The Scoreboard!

They took us down to the field; we were not able to step on the grass, because they were getting ready for the big game with Pittsburgh Steeler's (I'm a Steeler's fan, but I know we will not win this year.) on Sunday. Here's Paulette and I at the edge of the field, but we didn't touch the grass.

The famous Titan Locker Room!

The Shower's; I took a picture of their restroom, but I didn't think it would be a good idea to post it here.

Paulette at Johnson's locker; John will like this picture.

Paulette at Young's locker; John probably will not like this picture.

Paulette took this picture of me at Johnson's locker.

The Titan's 2002 AFC sign on the locker room wall.

We are pretending to be Coach Fisher's assistants!

This is on the wall where the team runs out onto the field.

This is where it all happens; our LP Field! I had a very nice time, and the vendor seminar was actually not that bad either. Thanks to my Vendor!

Professional Painters - A'Della's Birthday Celebration

The celebration began at 4 p.m., once we got Craig out of the office, then we went to eat at Genghis Grill. Here's the whole gang at the restaurant. It was really good food, but I felt bad for Mom (Amanda's Mom) because she put too many spices in hers. It was a little hot. She did order a brownie, and shared it with me, she's nice.

Paulette, Amanda, Sara and a few other of A'Della's friends met us at "Sips n Strokes" to get the professional painting started. Watch this video, it shows most of us.

Pictures of the night!

Down Home With The Neely's - Neely's Bar-B-Que

Did you know there is a Neely's Bar-B-Que in Nashville? Yes there is; I've watched "Down Home With The Neely's" on "The Food Network" since the beginning; one of the brothers moved to Nashville, and he runs the restaurant. Of course when I started to order, I told one of the workers that I watched the Neely's on TV. How cheesy did I sound?

You order your food; then you find a table, and they bring your food to you. I ordered the pulled pork, fries and baked beans; Robin ordered the bar-b-que chicken with slaw and baked beans. It was completely delicious! The restaurant is in the Metro Center on Rosa Parks Boulevard; the river runs behind the restaurant, and we noticed a couple of people feeding something over the banisters on the deck. The waitress was nice enought to explain that people come there to feed the turtles; there were several, and one was really big. After lunch we went and looked at the turtles. It was so much fun; we'll have to come back to feed them some time.
